a) Ms. Arlene Patterson, President of the Sarnia Health Coalition, will be speaking to County Council regarding the report titled "Funding Hospital Infrastructure: Why P3s Don't Work, and What Will".

a) Reading and Adoption of the Minutes of Council (OPEN SESSION) and (CLOSED SESSION) dated November 1, 2006.

Correspondence
a) 11-19-06  A copy of a letter from the City of Sarnia to the Honourable George Smitherman, Minister of Health, dated October 20, 2006, advising of its resolution that the Mayor and Council not accept the closure of the chiropody clinic at Bluewater Health, Norman Street Site and that a meeting be arranged with the Minister of Health to discuss the continuance of this clinic, to be funded by OHIP.
b) 11-31-06  A copy of a letter from the Township of Georgian Bay to the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister, dated November 7, 2006, advising that over one hundred and sixty (160) exotic species that have invaded the Great Lakes, have caused permanent harm to both the sport and commercial fisheries.  The Township of Georgian Bay is requesting the Federal Government to bring in legislation and regulations concerning the discharge of all ballast and bilge water, flushing of these systems as well as their inspection.  The Federal Government has also been asked to fund research to control the invasive species that are already devastating our Great Lakes Ecosystem.
c) 11-32-06  An email from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing dated November 16, 2006, providing an update on Ontario's campaign to achieve fairness in Canada's fiscal arrangements.  Mr. Gerretsen advises that Prime Minister Haper is preparing to address the fiscal imbalances between the Federal and Provincial Governments.  It will affect the quality of Ontario's health system, social services, roads and transit, as well as the support to workers affected by changes in the economy.

b) The Warden's Election and Inaugural Meeting of County Council will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
c) The CIBC Bank dinner will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the Holiday Inn Sarnia-Point Edward, Venetian B Ballroom, 1498 Venetian Blvd, Sarnia, Ontario.  Reception will be at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:00 p.m.
