The United Way representatives from the various County Departments, are sponsoring a "CHILI LUNCHEON" from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

County Councillors, staff, media and guests are invited.  All proceeds will go to the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton.

a) Presentation of a recognition plaque to Mr. Lloyd Woods, in appreciation for his generous donation of land to the Oil Museum of Canada.  Mr. Woods will be present to receive the plaque.
b) Presentation of a recognition plaque to Mr. Charles Fairbank, in appreciation for his generous donation to the Oil Museum of Canada.  Mr. Fairbank will be present to receive the plaque.
c) Presentation of a recognition plaque to North Lambton Lodge Auxiliary, in appreciation for their generous donations and ongoing support to North Lambton Lodge.  Olive Hughes will be present to receive the plaque.

Delegations
a) Mr. David Wright, Acting Chair of the Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) Board of Directors, will be speaking to County Council to give an update on LHINs (as per motion #12 of the Corporate & Community Services Committee minutes of June 20, 2007).

Recommendation

That the following correspondence items be received and filed:

a) 11-6-07  A letter from Katherine Scimmi, President/Managing Partner, McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, dated September 12, 2007, advising that they have partnered with international, award-winning filmmaker Larry Cappetto, to help honour our Canadian Veterans.  The movie premier of "Lest They Be Forgotten - Canada", featuring local veterans and their stories, will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at the Imperial Theatre at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are available by contacting the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home.  All proceeds will be donated to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
b) 11-7-07  A thank you note from the family of Willard Hall, for the flowers sent in memory of Mr. Hall, former Warden of the County of Lambton (1972).
