a) 9-9-07  A letter from The Corporation of the Township of Tyendinaga, dated August 14, 2007, regarding municipal void in land claim negotiations and requesting support of its resolution that negotiations be stayed until the Township of Tyendinaga is granted a place at the negotiating table as the property being discussed is partly within the municipal boundaries. The Township is also requesting that the Government of Ontario come to the negotiating table and begin to take an active role in protecting the municipal interest and that municipal interests in these matters be given concrete legal standing within the Government of Canada's land claim framework.
